This review is from: Maxxis Locust Cyclocross Bike Tire (Sports) These tires are a great all around on and off road tire. Very low rolling resistance and work great on most off road conditions. Their weak point is that they tend to load up in mud conditions. But this is pretty much exactly how the manufacturer describes them. For the late season cyclocross races with wet and muddy conditions, I would like to get a tire with a more open pattern to more easily clear mud.
