4.0 out of 5 stars nice FD if you can justify the price, January 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This thing is supposed to be CX specific and be of Ultegra quality. This FD is without a doubt very nice... and seems to be of Ultegra quality... in fact, I am having difficulty seeing just how its different than a regular ol' ultegra FD.... I suppose time will tell, and this CX70 series is still very new to the Shimano lineup, so it may be difficult to see just how it's different until I start riding it heavily.

Overall, the quality is nice... at least as nice as ultegra-level stuff. You wont be dissapointed if you are in the market for a NEW FD for your bike, I say go for it without fear... but if you're already running an ultegra or sram equiv..... Save your money, atleast until the CX specific designs of the CX50-70 prove themselves to be better than what we have right now.
