This review is from: Michelin Mud 2 Cyclocross Tire (700x30c) (Sports) Fantastic tire for cross. Great performance on grass and mud, roll nice and fast on pavement, even work fairly well on some moderately rough single-track. The only time I have ever slipped these tires is a sharp turn on a layer of long-leaf pine straw, and I can't imagine anything short of a knobby MTB tire making it any easier. The tires are supple and controllable without too much rolling resistance. They were very easy to get on and off standard aluminum rims; I managed without a lever. They are in the middle of the cross tire price range, and I have never tried the Tufos or Schwalbes, but I can't imagine a tire being much better than this for the money.
